What are the ACX requirements it checks?

Peak level no higher than −3 dBFS, RMS between −23 and −18 dBFS, and a noise floor at or below −60 dBFS — measured on every take the moment you stop recording. The free checker at vox-prompter.com/acx-check runs the same measurements on any audio file.

Is it safe for manuscripts and audio under NDA?

That constraint shaped the product. Takes are recorded and kept in your browser and are never uploaded; voice-following is local level analysis, not speech recognition; and scripts can be stored on your device only instead of in the cloud.

What is punch-and-roll?

The standard audiobook pickup technique: when you fluff a line, the recording is cut at the mistake, the last few seconds play back so you can catch the pace, and recording resumes seamlessly at the splice. VoxPrompter does this in the browser — click the word where the flub started and press P.
