How does the voice-following work?
The prompter listens to your microphone in the browser and reacts to the level and rhythm of your speech, entirely on your device. It is not speech recognition — no words are transcribed and no audio leaves your browser.
Can it listen while my recording software uses the same microphone?
Usually, yes — macOS and most Windows setups let two apps share a microphone. Some ASIO drivers take exclusive control of an interface; if voice-follow can’t hear you, you can still run the prompter on a timed scroll or step through it manually.
Is anything I say uploaded anywhere?
No. Voice-following is analyzed locally in your browser, and if you use the recorder, takes stay in the browser until you download them. Nothing is sent to a server.
